I have been serving in healthcare for 29 years. I started my career as a certified nurse assistant and continued my education as an LPN to Registered Nurse. I started my leadership role as a Director of Nursing in which I enjoyed for 12 years.  My passion for geriatrics started in my teenage years with my grandparents.

My passion is helping and supporting individuals with limited ability to help themselves.

With persistent encouragement from trusted and respected healthcare leaders, I decided to obtain my nursing home administrator license.

I currently serve as the administrator at Roswell Nursing and Rehab, where I lead several departments in accomplishing the goals of the organization.

I thoroughly enjoy working with the staff, empowering them to be the best they can be,  and most importantly enhancing the stay and experiences of the residents whom we serve on a daily basis.

Director of Nursing

I have been in the medical field for 25 years. I started out as a certified nurse assistant, to a Licensed Practical Nurse then finished up with my RN. After achieving the goal of a registered nurse I dived into getting experienced in multiple areas of nursing to include, Hospice, Home Care, Ortho, Dialysis, and Psych. After exploring all of these fields I found my back to long term care. I’ve always had a passion for geriatrics but wanted to challenge myself in other areas of interest as well. Throughout my career once I became a Licensed nurse I started as a night shift floor nurse, promoted to day shift unit manager over a 90 bed LTC/Skilled unit, then promoted to ADON, after being an ADON for 2 years I was then promoted to Director of Nursing which lead me to relocate in Georgia.

I enjoy working in LTC/Skilled because I enjoy seeing my skilled patients progress and be able to go back out into the community to enjoy their lives and I enjoy the conversations with the long term patients learning about the different things they did in their past life. Most of all, for the long term patients that don’t have family, it puts a smile on their face to have staff who takes a few minutes to listen to them or give them a hug which reminds me every day that it’s the small things in life that matter.

I foresee myself in LTC/Skilled setting throughout the rest of my nursing career.
