My passion for geriatrics started in my teenage years with my grandparents. I love helping and supporting individuals with limited ability to help themselves.

I have been serving in health care for 29 years. I started my career as a certified nurse assistant and continued my education as an LPN to registered nurse. I served as a director of nursing for 12 years. With persistent encouragement from trusted and respected health care leaders, I decided to obtain my nursing home administrator license.

I thoroughly enjoy working with the staff, empowering them to be the best they can be,  and most importantly enhancing the stay and experiences of the residents whom we serve on a daily basis.

Tanisha Daley Tanisha Daley

Director of Nursing
P: 404-556-0044

I have been in the medical field for 25 years. I started out as a certified nurse assistant, became a licensed practical nurse, then finished up with my RN. After I got my license, I started as a night-shift floor nurse, was promoted to day-shift unit manager over a 90-bed LTC/skilled unit, then was promoted to assistant director of nursing and ultimately to director of nursing.

I’ve worked in multiple specialties, including hospice, home care, ortho, dialysis, and psych. After exploring all of these fields I found my way back to long-term care. I’ve always had a passion for geriatrics.

I enjoy seeing my patients progress and become able to go back out into the community to enjoy their lives. I enjoy conversations with long-term patients where I learn about the different things they’ve done in their lives. Most of all, for the long-term patients who don’t have family, it puts a smile on their face to have staff who takes a few minutes to listen to them or give them a hug. That reminds me every day that it’s the small things in life that matter.

I have been in long-term care since 1997, and have held many different positions since I started my journey in this field. I’ve worked as a CNA, LPN, RN, and director of nursing before my current job here at Roswell. I enjoy long-term care because of the people I get to work with every day, from the residents and their families to my coworkers. It makes every day different.
